Camper & Nicholsons has announced the sale of a 74ft Heysea solar-assisted powercat by Sales Broker Sebastien Wanig Bernard. The owner plans to spend long holidays with family on the yacht, which is scheduled to be delivered in April 2023 and will initially be used in the Mediterranean before relocating to Australia.
Italian studio VYD has designed the exterior and interior. The exterior lines have been customised by the owner, who required an extended superstructure to allow for the integration of an additional separated bow-saloon, while keeping a bow-cockpit alfresco area, accessible from inside and outside.
Consequently, the flybridge has been extended and now spans 840sqft. It features a convertible alfresco saloon-dining area, five sun beds, a wet bar with barbecue, fridges, icemaker and an impressive jacuzzi with an integrated bar.
The powercat will be able to accommodate eight guests in one master suite, one VIP and two guest suites, all with en-suite bathrooms. The master will feature a walk-in wardrobe, a private saloon and an owner’s office in earthy neutral tones.
The owner also changed the proposed engines to two 725hp Volvos for greater range, while two bow thrusters are wirelessly controlled by a DockMate joystick. Solar panels on the hard top means batteries will be able to operate for up to eight hours.
