British builders will lead the line-up of yachts at the first edition of London Luxury Afloat, which will be held at St Katharine Docks from April 21-24.
Created by British Marine, organiser of the Southampton International Boat Show, the four-day show in Central London’s only marina will feature luxury motor and sailing yachts by leading brands from the UK as well as Italy, Germany and Sweden.
Sunseeker will showcase a 65 Sport Yacht, 76 Yacht and Predator 74 XPS, while Fairline will display an F//Line 33, Targa 45 GT and a Squadron 50. The Pearl 62 is among other British yachts along with Falcon Tenders’ custom-built Miss Wonderly, a 35ft self-charging, plug-in hybrid limousine tender.
Italy’s Azimut will have a 53 Flybridge and an S6 (59ft), while other motor yachts include the trailerable Ryck 280 from Germany.
Oyster is staging world premiere of its 495 alongside a 565, 595 and its flagship 885, while a Hallberg-Rassy 57 from Sweden rounds out the sailing boats. Meanwhile, Bristol company Float8 will be showing its Float1 houseboat, which features an open-plan living and dining area, galley, two double bedrooms, bathroom, and a roof deck.
Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine, said: “We are really excited to be able to bring this new showcase event to London. We have some the finest luxury sail and motor yachts attending the show, which we are sure will whet the appetites of the discerning buyers who visit.
“One of the unique features of this show is that if you live in the city and you’re short on time, London Luxury Afloat provides a unique opportunity to view a wide range of prestigious yachts right on your doorstep. If you’re visiting from further afield, where better than the heart of London to enjoy a day viewing these incredible craft, before enjoying all the city has to offer.”
The show also features shoreside displays from the likes of products and services including Helm Yachting Holidays, Raymarine, Ultimate Stream, Waterlodge UK and Fliteboard.
To view the in-water yachts, visitors need to buy a ticket that also provides access to the floating VIP area, while access to shoreside exhibits is free.
