Bluegame has displayed the BG72 at the Monaco Yacht Show following the model’s debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and appearance at the Genoa International Boat Show. Designed by Luca Santella with Zuccon International Project, the BG72 shares the BGX70’s high-performance hull – created with naval architect Lou Codega – and Volvo IPS propulsion system.
The lower deck on the BG72 also features the same large aft platform as the BGX70 but has a revised lower-deck layout and an open main deck in contrast to the enclosed version on the latter.
The BG72 offers two lower-deck layouts. The first starts with the main saloon and galley, leading to two twin cabins and an owner’s suite forward. The alternative begins with the owner’s suite, with the saloon, galley and a twin cabin midships, and a VIP suite forward.
The decor of hull one includes Canaletto walnut wood combined with leather and fabrics in light and blue tones.
From the aft platform, two staircases lead up to the main deck, which starts with a large sunbed that can be covered by a bimini, while sofas, an adjustable table and a wet bar are all covered by the hardtop.
The helm station is enclosed by windscreens on three sides and the possibility of total closure during adverse weather conditions or in the need for privacy.
The foredeck has a sofa and an island sunpad, and can also be covered by a bimini, while there’s a ‘sundeck’ area on top of the hardtop. Like parent brand Sanlorenzo, Bluegame is represented in Asia by Simpson Marine.
