Bluegame confirms BGM75 among Cannes line-up

Bluegame will stage the global debut of the twin-hulled BGM75 at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, which will be held from September 12-17. The sister brand of Sanlorenzo will also show the BG72 (click for Review), BGX63, BG54 (click for Review) and BG42.

The BGM75 is the first multihull in the Bluegame portfolio, which includes the open-style BG line and the enclosed BGX series. The new multihull features an ultra-efficient hull derived from America’s Cup technology and designed by Philippe Briand, a world-renowned expert in performance hulls.

Bernardo Zuccon, a long-time design collaborator with Sanlorenzo and Bluegame, and Sanlorenzo Art Director Piero Lissoni have designed the exteriors and interiors respectively of a yacht that can accommodate a 3.95m (12ft 9in) tender.

The 23m yacht has a beam of 8.15m (26ft 9in), yet a draft of just 1.45m (4ft 7in). Fitted with twin 550hp or 600hp Volvo D8 engines, the CE Category B yacht has an estimated top speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 18.
