Beneteau will host the world premiere of the Grand Trawler 62, its new flagship motorboat, at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, which will be held from September 7-12.
The French builder’s other global debut at Europe’s largest in-water boat show will be the Gran Turismo 45, the new flagship of the brand’s express cruiser range, which will also be represented by the Gran Turismo 36 (outboard) and 41 models.
The Beneteau display will also include the Swift Trawler 41 Fly, as well as a Flyer 9 SUNdeck, Flyer 10 and Antares 11 Fly, the latter two flagships of their respective lines.
As well as its motor boats at Vieux Port, Beneteau will have a strong display of sailing yachts at Port Canto headed by its flagship Oceanis Yacht 62, a model recently sold into Hong Kong by long-time dealer Simpson Marine.
Other yachts on display comprise the Oceanis Yacht 54, First Yacht 53 – both models recently displayed in Hong Kong by Simpson Marine – Oceanis 51.1 and Oceanis 40.1.
Also at Port Canto, sister brand Lagoon will stage the world premiere of its new Lagoon 55 sailing cat (Review, Issue 59).
As well as the Lagoon 55, the builder will also show a cross-section of its range of sailing models from the Lagoon 40, 46 and 52 to the Sixty 5 and flagship Seventy 7.
Simpson Marine represents Beneteau and Lagoon in Hong Kong and several other Asian markets.
