The Asia-Pacific premiere of Beneteau’s new First 36 was held at the Japan International Boat Show (March 23-26) in Yokohama, where Beneteau Asia-Pacific worked with local dealers First Marine and Odyssey Marine.

The First 36, which features facing and cruising modes, was among several new sailing yachts unveiled by Beneteau at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival along with the First 44 and flagship Oceanis Yacht 60.
Japan debut of Beneteau Oceanis 34.1
The Yokohama show also hosted the Japan debuts of the Oceanis 34.1 and the Swift Trawler 48, while the three-motorboat, three-sailboat display included the First 53, Gran Turismo 41 and Antares 9. The Lagoon 42 and Excess 11 sailing catamarans from Beneteau’s sister brands were also on display.

Over the same four-day period, 36° Brokers represented Beneteau at the Auckland Boat Show, showcasing Oceanis 40.1 and 51.1 sailing yachts and six motorboats: Gran Turismo 32 OB, Swift Trawler 41, Swift Trawler 48, and Antares 8, 9 and 11 models.

At the three-day Fremantle Boat and Seafood Festival in Western Australia earlier in the month, dealer Mansfield Marine displayed Oceanis 40.1 and 46.1 sailing yachts and five motorboats: Antares 8, 9 and 11 models, plus a Gran Turismo 32 and 36.
