Azimut displayed six models at the second Venice Boat Show, which was held in the city’s prestigious Arsenale area from May 29-June 6. The Italian shipyard’s stand at the Darsena Grande – Riviera Levante included the Timeless version of the Magellano 25 Metri, a Magellano 43, the S6 and S8 from the sporty S Collection, the Flybridge Collection flagship 78 and an Atlantis 45 sport cruiser.
Marco Valle, CEO of the Azimut Benetti Group, said: “The Venice boat show was an opportunity for us to reunite with customers along the Adriatic Sea for the first time since the main trade fairs were stopped. At this pivotal moment, in which our country is slowly starting up again, we hope the nautical industry can be a driving force for the economy and a flagbearer for the excellence of Made in Italy.”
The Magellano 25 Metri’s Timeless version was shown in Europe for the first time. The model combines the exterior by Ken Freivokh with custom interiors designed by the Azimut style office based on the concept and architectural project developed by Vincenzo De Cotiis. The 25 Metri is the current flagship of the Magellano line, while the 43 designed by Cor D. Rover is the entry-level model.
Another star in Venice was the Azimut 78 Fly, the Flybridge Collection flagship with an exterior by Alberto Mancini and spacious interiors by Achille Salvagni.
The S8 also features an exterior by Mancini, the S6 was designed by Stefano Righini, while both models have interiors by Francesco Guida. The Atlantis 45 sport cruiser features an exterior by Neo Design and interior by Azimut Yachts.
Azimut is represented in Hong Kong, Macau, southern China, Taiwan and Singapore by Marine Italia.
