The first MCY 105 sold to Australia will arrive in the second half of the year, in time for the southern hemisphere’s summer boating season. The customised yacht will reside in Rose Bay Marina, a high-end location between Sydney Harbour and Bondi Beach.
Sergio Loiacono, Monte Carlo Yachts’ Sales and Marketing Director, said: “The company is excited about this quite unique event, as it will be the first time the Monte Carlo Yachts flagship has reached Australia. The shipyard has been able to accomplish this ambitious goal thanks to a proven capability to constantly meet customers’ expectations in terms of levels of customisation and delivery time.”
The Italian builder, which has a state-of-the art modular construction process at its facility in Monfalcone, said its ability to “fulfil each and every dream of the customer” within a short delivery period was essential to securing the Sydney sale. “
“The owner had a very clear idea of the customisation process he wished to experience and at the same time he needed to have the yacht delivered in time for the start of the Australian season,” the shipyard stated.
Asia Yachting recently sold the first MCY Skylounge 70 in Asia to a Hong Kong client. The regional dealer represents Monte Carlo Yachts in Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
