The first MCY Skylounge 70 in Asia has arrived in Hong Kong, ahead of a private showcase and her official Asian premiere. Monte Carlo Yachts’ first Skylounge model had her world premiere in Miami in February and has since been joined in the range by the MCY Skylounge 76, which had its global debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 28-November 1).
Hong Kong-based dealer Asia Yachting is arranging a series of activities around the new MCY Skylounge 70 “in line with the alternative and tailor-made approach undertaken by Monte Carlo Yachts during this special nautical season”. Activities include a local shooting and filming, a live online premiere of her Asian debut and private viewings: https://bit.ly/34ABKwS.
The Skylounge Collection features an enclosed flybridge that includes the sole helm station and a large, versatile entertainment area, while an outdoor area aft can be used for sunbathing and al fresco cooking and dining. A glass staircase connects the flybridge with the main saloon, which can also be customised. The saloon on the MCY Skylounge in Hong Kong features sofas, a fully equipped galley and dining area.
The saloon connects to the aft cockpit, which provides a covered lounging and dining area. The largest ‘open area’ is the foredeck, which has a central passageway flanked by huge sunpads and adjustable tables, although shelter options are available and include a bimini or beach cabana.
The lower deck offers accommodation for up to eight guests in an owner’s suite with private access, a spacious VIP cabin and two guest cabins. High-end fabrics, natural stones and Italian leathers are just a few of the interior materials available from Monte Carlo Yachts.
