Kicking off APSA’s 10th anniversary celebrations, the three-part webinar series covers cruising and charter in Asia-Pacific while promoting the region as the world’s ‘third cruising destination’.

Session 1 (January 12) focuses on Oceania/Pacific, with an introduction by Nigel Beatty, Chairman of APSA, and David Good, CEO of Superyacht Australia. The panellists are Mark Wightman (Integrated Marine), Angela Pennefather (Melanesian Luxury Yachts) and Trenton Gay (Gold Coast City Marina).

Each seminar offers free registration and starts at 5pm Hong Kong/Singapore time

APSA has members in Australia, New Zealand, Melanesia, Tahiti, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea. The Pacific Ocean is a vast cruising area, while Australia and New Zealand offer specialised shipyard services, as well as technical and professional expertise, making them suitable for refit or maintenance stopovers.

Session 2 (January 19) is for East Asia and starts with introductions by Joe Yuen, APSA’s Honorary Treasurer, and Expat Marine’s Colin Dawson, a founding member of APSA. Mike Simpson (Simpson Marine), Nigel Beatty (SYL Japan) and Captain Paul Brackley (Central Yacht) are the panellists.

APSA has members in mainland China, particularly the Greater Bay Area and Hainan, as well as Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan. As well as cruising grounds, this region also offers opportunities for refits and maintenance.

APSA has members in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) and South Asia (India and Sri Lanka), regions that provide diverse, adventurous cruising and charter opportunities, with service and refit also available.
