Jeanneau continue to upgrade its Cap Camarat series of open outboard powerboats with the Serie2 version of the 9.0 Walk Around, a third-generation model.
The 29-footer will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 12-17) then exhibit at Grand Pavois La Rochelle (September 20-25) and the Barcelona International Boat Show before making its US debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 25-29).
Drawing from the larger Cap Camarat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA, the Cap Camarat 9.0 WA Serie2 is the third-largest Walk Around model and features a new 8m-long, 3m-wide V-shaped hull designed by Michael Peters, plus twin engines up to 250hp each.
Patrice Sarrazin also collaborated on the design of the 2.5-tonne yacht, which has a drop-down bulwark to port of the centreline twin-seat helm station and wet bar (including gas grill and fridge), which are covered by a T-top and protected by a glass windscreen.
The aft cockpit features three sides of seating around a table and can be transformed into a sunbathing area, while the foredeck has an integrated triple sunpad that can be extended forward.
Below deck is bright due to large hull windows and features a convertible V-shaped dinette forward and a full-beam double midships, as well as a bathroom to starboard of the stairs and small galley to port.
