Riva has announced that it has signed a contract for the first unit of the 54 Metri, a new all-aluminum flagship designed to succeed the 50 Metri following production of the latter’s third hull.
The sale was concluded in partnership with Alain Maaraoui, the founder and Chairman of Sea Pros Yachts, Riva’s exclusive dealer in Kuwait, who played a key role in drawing up the agreement and will continue to work with the customer from construction through to delivery planned for 2025.
Work on the Riva 54 Metri is currently underway at the Riva Superyachts Division in Ancona, the state-of-the-art shipyard occupying almost 80,000sqm where all the brand’s metal yachts are built. Ancona is also home to the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, which produces all CRN and Custom Line models, and Pershing’s aluminium superyachts.
Like all Riva models for more than two decades, Riva 54 Metri is the result of collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and its Engineering Department.
Riva 54 Metri is expected to have a top speed of 18 knots and offers almost 370sqm of outdoor spaces including a waterside beach area, while other highlights include a wellness area with a gym, spa and stunning pool.
