Fairline is preparing the Boot Dusseldorf debuts of its upgraded flagship Squadron 68 and the Phantom 65, which both had their world premieres just four months ago at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The British builder is also showing a Targa 50 Open, Targa 45 GT and F//Line 33 in Hall 6 of the world’s biggest indoor boat show from January 21-29.
The Phantom 65 is Fairline’s first sportbridge yacht and is based on the hull of the Targa 65, the flagship of Fairline’s cruiser collection. Twin Cat C18-1150 engines and optional V12 C32-1622s deliver 31 and 37 knots respectively.
Outdoor areas include an aft cockpit with an island sunpad, two sofas and a folding table, a foredeck with a C-shaped sofa and two sunpads, and a flybridge with two C-shaped sofas. The interior includes an aft galley and dining area, and a forward saloon with two sofas, while the lower deck can have three or four cabins.
The new Squadron 68 features a subtly revised exterior, new hardtop and a new contemporary interior design.
Paul Grys, Fairline Yachts’ CEO, said: “We’re delighted boot Düsseldorf is back in 2023 and equally delighted to bring two show debuts to such a key event in the annual calendar. We’ve had fantastic feedback on the new Squadron 68 and the award-winning Phantom 65 when visitors saw the yachts for the first time at Cannes Yachting Festival. Our investment in new product underpins our future growth and we’ve got an exciting period ahead of us.”
