Robert Van Tol of the Water Revolution Foundation has joined the list of speakers at the first Experiential Yachting Forum, which will be held at Yacht Club de Monaco on April 21. Other speakers include Paris Baloumis of event sponsor Oceanco, yacht designers, superyacht owners, entrepreneurs and investors, experiential experts, adventurers and health experts.
The Forum has been created to “discuss unique yachting experiences and activities that bring additional value and purpose to the use of a vessel for yacht owners, charterers and crew”. The target audience is yachting professionals, experience providers, owners, owner representatives and captains.
The programme runs from 9am-6pm and includes five main five presentations and panels.The morning session covers experiential yachting including yachting experiences, experiential engineering and yachting, immersive digital art experiences and yachting, and the expectations of yacht owners and yacht builders.
After lunch, session two covers yachting and health, including cetosonotherapy (therapy using the sounds produced by whales, dolphins or porpoises) and experiential therapy on yachts. The third session, experiential ownership, covers the metaverse, NFT and yachting, as well as custom yacht ownership and group yacht ownership.
Session four is focused on exploring and discovering new challenges and includes exploring the world by yacht, fishing adventures and sustainability, and environmental projects and yachting. The fifth and final session is about rethinking the purpose of superyachts and includes superyacht medical centres, superyacht community workspaces, superyacht retirement homes, superyacht showrooms and more.
“Together we seek to change the perception of yachting, uplifting it with deep purposes and non-ordinary experiences, making a difference to the world and to people’s lives, as well as connecting yachting to various sectors such as ocean and human health, marine science, neuroscience, philosophy, metaverse, plus AI and VR technology,” the organisers state.
Tickets are €300 to attend onsite and €200 to attend online, which includes access to replay videos from the forum and the chance to chat and ask questions online.
