Silent-Yachts will have its own stand (D17, Zone 4) but no boats onsite at this year’s Palma International Boat Show, which will be held at Moll Vell in Mallorcafrom April 28-May 1. However, the solar-electric catamaran builder will be arranging offsite sea trials of the brand’s new Silent 60 and the Silent 55 Front Exit with a saloon door to the foredeck.
Silent-Yachts will offer a Tesla shuttle service each day at 1.15pm and 4.15pm from the show to the builder’s showroom in Port Adriano, for sea trials at 2pm and 5pm respectively. A Silent 64, the first solar-powered production yacht to cross the Atlantic Ocean, can also be viewed as she is available for sale.
Silent-Yachts’ presence at the Palma show will extend to the VisionF display at the Super Yacht Village, where the Turkish builder will be present at Stand No. 2 on Quay P3.
As part of a collaboration between the two companies, the stand will feature a detailed scale model of the Silent VisionF 82, a redesigned hybrid version of the VisionF 80 powercat that will be on show in the water and available for viewings so visitors can have an idea of the future model’s scale and basic layout.
