Riva has launched the first hull of its 76’ Perseo Super, a model that’s scheduled to premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 7-12. An upgraded version of the 76’ Perseo, the yacht was launched in the La Spezia shipyard that produces the brand’s models from 76-130ft.
Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, said: “Only Riva can propel a legend into the future because only Riva perfectly understands the codes of the brand’s tradition and its aesthetic and technological know-how. The result is Riva 76’ Perseo Super, whose prodigious beauty radiates elegance and sportiness. Super by name and in reality.”
With an overall length of 23.25m (76ft) and a beam of 5.75m (18ft), the new Sportfly model is a design collaboration between Officina Italiana Design founder Mauro Micheli and Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department.
The yacht features over 40sqm of glazed surfaces on the hull and superstructure, while Riva traditions are evident in the use of mahogany and polished stainless steel.
In the cockpit, the dining area can become a spacious sun pad by lowering the table for eight and covering it with cushions. The sun deck features a 4sqm central sun pad, while the upper helm is flanked by sofas on both sides.
The combination of sand-coloured oak and light or dark lacquer is a distinctive feature of the entire main deck and throughout the interior, while rosewood is an alternative. The standard lower-deck layout features three en-suite guest cabins – a fourth is optional – plus a small lounge and a galley.
