Williams tenders are used by many of the world’s leading motor yacht builders

Williams Jet Tenders has announced “exceptional sales across Asia” in 2020, led by the boating boom in Hong Kong after Covid-enforced travel restrictions early in the year led to more people using boats and a surge in yacht sales in the city.

Adam Waters, General Manager of Williams Tenders Greater China, said: “Williams Jet Tenders has seen significant demand in the market during the past year and has fast become one of the most popular tenders in places such as Hong Kong. There were more people boating and exploring, with many customers using their boats more for overnight trips.

“Williams’ tenders are some of the most versatile on the market for transportation, water-skiing, wakeboarding and general cruising, making them both a necessity and a fun accessory for those trips. Hong Kong’s boating also largely centres around family trips and public beaches, so the safety and peace of mind that a Williams jet tender brings is a huge draw.”

The DieselJet 415 will be released early this year

Appointed in May 2019, Williams Tenders Greater China covers Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China, and is among over 56 dealers in the British manufacturer’s global sales and servicing network. The Greater China dealer has multiple offices and a dedicated after-sales service centre in Hong Kong, plus further offices on the mainland including in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Dalian.

Founded in 2005, Williams produces tenders suitable for boats from 38ft through to superyachts. The company has strong relationships with leading motor yacht manufacturers including British builders Sunseeker, Princess and Fairline, Italy’s Azimut-Benetti, Ferretti Group and Sanlorenzo, and French brands Jeanneau and Beneteau, with many models designed to accommodate a Williams tender.

Williams offers 14 models in five ranges: MiniJet (280), TurboJet (285, 325), SportJet (345, 395, 435, 460, 520), DieselJet (415, 445, 505, 565, 625) and EvoJet (70), a 7m (23ft) superyacht tender with an inboard diesel engine and seating for 13.
