This year’s Blue List Expedition is sold out, with 100 people attending the second edition of the three-day, two-night escapade, which will be held from December 18-20. The first edition was held in Koh Lanta in April 2017 and was a forerunner to the first Phuket RendezVous in January 2018.
This year’s event starts with a bubbly brunch sponsored by Royal Phuket Marina, the event’s starting and finishing point. Yachts and guests will cruise to Zeavola Resort in the Phi Phi Islands, where they will spend two nights. The event is organised by JAND Events and supported by Yacht Sourcing.
“We are now 100 per cent full,” said Nicolas Monges, Partner and Managing Director of Yacht Sourcing Thailand. “We have 14 yachts signed up and 100 guests, which is our capacity.”
The 106ft Demarest – whose charter guests have included John Legend and Chrissy Teigen – is the biggest yacht in the event and was designed by long-time Azimut designer Stefano Righini and built by Falcon in Italy.
Large yachts include the 89ft Moon Glider, also built in Italy, and the iconic Maha Bhetra, the 90ft wooden boat designed by Ed Tuttle and built in Thailand. Other motor yachts include the Princess Y75 Sanook, MCY 70 Darling and the 52ft Luvli Ocean.
Catamarans include a Leopard 51 (Stay), Fountaine Pajot Saba 50, Lagoon 42 (Mami) and an Aquila 36 powercat.
Luxury RIBS include the Nuova Jolly Prince 38 charter yacht Tiger Lily – a new arrival in Phuket this year – and a 33ft Tempest 1000.
Event partners include RenewyouAsia, a new company specialising in UC-MSCs therapy and regenerative and anti-ageing products and packages.
Others include Coldwell Banker, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, Cressi, BB&B, Siam Cooling System, Alie and Phuket Wing Foil. Yacht Style, Lux Inc, Luxuo and Heart Media are among media partners.
